Hi,

If any one can help me, it would be much appreciated. I've been googling all afternoon for a solution haven't found one.

My friend gave me a ONE B WAV3010S digital Television receiver for Freeview.

I got all the cable and wires where the need to go. I turned it on and i could not receive a signal. I reset it to factory settings and think i really stuffed it up.

I talked my friend about and he is just a clueless as i am.

Does anyone out there have any experience with these receivers? And doesn't mind to tack me though the steps to get it configured again?

Many thanks

Jody

It's a satellite receiver, right? So you have it hooked up to a satellite dish?

Cable is connected to LNB-In? There should be LNB settings in the menu. Most likely you will need to tell the box what type of LNB is connected to your disk e.g. 10750 or 11300. Ku, not C-Band. Also, you will need to tune it in (blindscan?) after setting the LNB. Is it a Sky dish? If so, someone else might be able to tell you what settings you will need.

You will need to scan these transponders to get FreeView:

Freq=12456

Polarity=Horiontal

Rate= 22500

Freq=12483

Polarity=Horiontal

Rate= 22500

Does your STB look like this?

If so, you could perhaps email their customer support for a product manual?

I've got one of these units and they are relatively easy to setup.

The problem is the default settings have Vertical Polarity and still say Optus B1.

Select Optus B1 As your satellite and find the frequency 12456 and 12483 and change them from Vertical to Horizontal.

Then you need to change you LNB settings to match the LNB on your dish and you should start to see a signal.
