Hi this is quite a good unit, but firmware update is not found Google. Does anyone know who manufactures this product? Please put company url here as its likely the only source of firmware as local suppliers dont seem to have updates or if they have, dont want to share it with customers.
Thanks,
Alistair.

Not sure, but in Wikipedia "On 2 February 2010, Vestel became the first manufacturer to gain Freeview HD certification, for the Vestel T8300 set top box."
If they are related, see http://www.vestel.com.tr/global/

Both apply. I suspect with a firmware update will include decode .mkv files as same processor and another vesta model plays .mkv

Here is my firmware which seems to be Feb 11: http://db.tt/QhsAC26y
Thanks vm.
