heavenlywild: My order was also via EPP.

You may as well head into a shop to pick one up rather than wait. The only thing you miss out on is the free leather case.

I am not sure EPP orders can be picked up from a shop, it had to be online only

Did a last minute pre-order (as in finalised right on midnight) through NL since too late to get discount codes(?) by phoning Samsung.

NL page for the Ultra says (/said) "Bonus Galaxy Watch 4 and $150 Noel Leeming Gift Card with purchase".

When I got to the payment page the bonus 'free' watch was listed but there was no mention of the $150 Gift Card.   Normal?   Now not certain if I am going to get the gift card?

Also, it was not until I got the email confirmation of the purchase that I realised that the bonus "Galaxy Watch 4" was in fact the "Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm" version.

Anyone else get that?

To be honest, despite the nominal $200 higher price, my preference would probably have been the standard 44mm version.  I have a Gear S3 and was thinking that something a little slimmer would have been nice.  Only reservations were no physical rotating bezel and the Aluminium case.  Would likely have got used to the former but my Gear gets a bit of a hard time (working in the garden etc) so SS may be better.

Well, 10th Feb order just got a shipping notification (512GB Burgundy 2 buds pro & a couple of cases to try). Only a little late, but I'll take it.

Does anyone have any opinions on cases? Specifically ones that might survive a mountain bike crash? (😄)

I've run UAG in the past (swear that thing actually saved my body from rock impacts), but the bulk is considerable on an already big phone.

Interesting.  Order finalised at midnight with stated availability of 7 Mar.

Now just received an email telling me that the phone (sans watch) is now ready for collection.  So less than 9 hours from order to ready!

A ~10 min drive to pick up but it would have been the same if I had it 'delivered'.  We cannot get couriers to our rural physical address (long story) so would need to get it delivered to one of our sons who lives in the same area as the local NL store.

Very happy with my new device. Battery life is on par possibly a fraction better. It's much quicker than my Note 20 Ultra (for sale now).

The S-Pen experience is better too.

Pre-order arrived today 😀

Chose the free buds as I already have a galaxy watch 4 classic.

Perfect timing, I can spend the weekend setting it up.

Use Smart Switch. I have around 30 apps I use every day plus all the other stuff, including some quite complex security stuff and it took me around 2 hours start to finish to get set up. It went so well I don't even have my old phone with me, which I usually carry for a few days in case something got missed.

Still waiting on phone to be sent. Fairly unimpressed with Samsung on this - almost zero communication, and when it came, utterly vague statements. Had I known this would happen I’d have ordered it somewhere else. Lesson learned

I'm kind of in the same boat, got mine shipped to one of their mall stores. It is marked as delivered, but also dispatched, and I confirmed with the staff they haven't received it yet..

My exact sentiments. I've even used the same 'vague' word when emailing my complaint regarding their service. A reply was that someone will contact me about splitting the delivery of my phone and the accessory.

I can tell you they are under immense pressure, and stock is less available than anyone hoped, and they are also short staffed and many people are working from home. I know how frustrated you must be feeling, and Samsung aren't the most efficient company ever, and their communication can be quite average, but there are a lot of things outside of their control right now.

So strange because dealing with them via chat, phone etc I've noticed they 'want' to help and are very polite but end result is always disappointed with the call or I never resolve why I called them in the first place.

In saying that, I received my order way too early (last Friday) but still trying to sort out some billing issues and every time I call/chat to them, they say "sir your order is showing as dispatched and it should be with you shortly" - I'm like, umm I got the phone a week ago mate, I'm literally talking to you from my new S22...

They are a big company with very rigid processes. The CSR will want to help, but there in my experience isn't very good escalation and process management monitoring.

It's like what Vodafone was a year or so ago. They are overdue a clean up in my opinion, but right now, they have other much bigger issues to deal with as does most business in NZ :)

It's unfortunate you got caught in the cross fire this time, but at least you have your device.

Exact same situation as the S22+ I ordered for my mum. The overall status is showing as “dispatched” but both the phone and watch show as “delivered” in their progress indicators. Called the Albany kiosk this morning to check if it had arrived and turns out it hasn’t - I’m wondering if the overall status needs to change to “delivered” when it actually gets there?!

I get they’re under pressure, and I understand it, but more fulsome
Communication would have been welcome. ]
