Those "bonus" features are even more disappointing that the phones themselves.

Yeah I am also wondering about waiting to be honest. I usually want the phone day one, but what's bundled esp when I am buying outright this time, makes a difference to my "change" over fee.

JB are not even offering anything. These are pretty rubbish deals. Mate 30 Pro is looking good, may even consider the OP7 Pro.

I am going to go out on a limb and say the Note 10 will be less successful by some margin compared to the Note 9 in terms of sales.

Looks like S11 is the next phone for me after my current Note 9.

What a disappointing start, weak deals are weak....

Hell even with the Note 9, I got the Wireless Duo Charger + $300 off the top on 2degrees.

$400 memory upgrade? That is a pretty non-deal.

Oh well, going by recent history, its most likely going to get some pretty good haircuts and actual bonus deals in the next 3-12 months.

Unless you are a loyalist, the Stylus is pretty much the only reason to buy a Note in my view. None of those other phones have it. The One Plus 7 Pro is an outstanding phone as well.

Have faith boys.  Disappointing features means weak sales projections which means better pre order specials.  Generally PB tech is the best and they haven't updated their web site with the specials yet.  Samsung are likely to boost the trade in values as this has the advantage (to them) of getting the old phones off the market.  The Samsung specials are never better than the retailers ones because they can't undercut the retailers.

These things generally follow a typical pattern.  Pre order specials are the best.  Then after launch date the specials are worse or non existent.  When the phone gets 6 to 12 months old the price drop as they try and clear stock before the new model arrives.  When the new model is released the old model is no longer restocked and it disappears from the shelf.  The whole cycle then repeats with the new model.

So either pre order one or wait at least six months.

Vodafone's customer email this morning says:

"Keep an eye out for an email from us on Monday with an extra special pre-order offer for our loyal Vodafone customers!"

Why couldn't they just do that today... buggers!

I stepped through the shopping cart process on the Samsung site and the price for the Note 10+ shown as $2299 never dropped to $1899 even though they state there's a free memory upgrade. Something's going wrong there.

I think you purchase the 256 one and get upgraded. Stupid to even have the 512 as an option if thats the case. But i suppose its there for when the pre order special finishes, then you have to choose between the two.

There is no 512gb option. Samsung (on their website) have the Note 10+ listed as "from $2299". Surely they're not pricing the 256gb version at $2299.

If you read it says the discount is applied when you go to cart where price drops.

I may be in the minority but 512gb id never use, even 256gb would be a stretch. Cloud is king
