Announced by SanDisk at MWC a short while ago. Only $200USD at release, $20 cheaper than 64gb cards were at release. Ordering mine ASAP.

Just saw the press release. And... My tablet only supports up to 64GB, which is currently encrypted and 2/3 full of Skydrive content. The 128 GB would be nice. Time for a new tablet soon.

Any device that takes 64gb should take the 128gb.

Hmmm. The specs on the ASUS pages says "64 GB". Perhaps because there was no viable 128GB alternative. Might investigate.

Yep, that's why they say that. From 4gb-8gb-16gb-32gb-64gb it's been the same, and for each of those transitions the cards have always worked for me.

Well, will have to be next month then... Just ordered a GIGABYTE BRIX with memory and mSATA SSD today, to replace the ageing Dell Zino HD.

Early stuff I had used to only support 32gb, but they all worked with my 64gb card.

Now to talk the mrs into this....
Wish me luck, because we're about to buy a house, so I expect the answer to be NO!

so a note 3 should be fine with this card then?

32 to 64 is sometimes iffy as to support SDXC and use the logo you have to support MS-ExFAT which there is some resistance to from many people because of patents and their ideologies.

However reformatted in the device to a non standard fat32 64 gig card they will work.

My s2 was quite happy driving a 128 gig full size SD card via an adapter when formatted fat32, but the camera would just format it exfat so it had to be done in a computer to get it to be formatted fat, then the camera was fine with it, as was the phone. And I think that was when it was running gingerbread or possibly ICS.

I've occasionally used mine formatted exFAT, but mostly kept them Fat32 to prevent hassles with my numerous device changes and some devices not supporting exFAT. I think most are now able to use them with exFAT formatting.

Wonder what the performance of the cards will be like for non sequential stuff, because a few larger ones I have tried in my raspi have been dire despite being labeled a class 10 U 1 card for speed.

Similar experience here, although not too much of an issue for my purposes.
