I've always been a fan of the Moto G series. They've always produced a really nice near-stock android phone for a great price. The only major omission of late was a fingerprint scanner - but no worries, as Moto's have this great dimple on the back that would be perfect for slotting into a scanner for the next iteration.

So, if the latest leaks are correct, the next iteration looks Lenovo have totally missed the boat. The textured back of old with trademark dimple have gone and been replaced with a much less attractive back that looks less like Moto and more like LG.

And the fingerprint scanner is an unattractive little square added to the front of the device.

I was hoping the Moto sale to Lenovo was going to be a lifeline to keep the Moto series alive and kicking. Not impressed with latest leak.
