I have a Shield I use for streaming, but I keep running into things that won’t work on it that do work on a regular Android box. The latest is Chrome Launcher. This is a great Kodi add-on that sends Chrome to a selected site in kiosk mode.

I have Chrome installed on the Shield, but Chrome Launcher says it can’t find it, though it works fine on a regular Android device. I have looked at other options, but they all want to lock down the Android device in one way or another. I just want a browser that will open a single URL in kiosk mode or alternatively, a solution to make Chrome Launcher work with the Shield. Is this not possible?
