Hi there. I installed FPse (Playstation 1 emulator) a few days ago and so far I have only loaded 1 game on it, Crash Bandicoot 1. The actual gameplay is fine, audio + video is great, nothing wrong with it. My problem lies with the controls. I cannot seem to complete even the first level because sometimes when i "Press/touch" a button it wont respond.

For example, running + then jumping over a hole is near on impossible. Sometimes I will run towards it and then all of a sudden run backwards, sometimes I will just fall straight down because Fpse/my phone has recognised that I am pressing the jump button (X in this case)

I was wondering if anybody else had any similar problems to this, how did you fix it?

Cheers

It is now happening with Final Fantasy 7. I cant run because whenever I press the X it brings up the menu (Usaully you need to push triangle) so it isnt a game problem its more of a FPse/My phone problem.

Anybody have any tips/advice?

Cheers

From memory the N1 did not have multitouch from day one. It was enabled with a firmware update and was never up to the same standard as other phones.

As such, I would hazard a guess that it's the implementation of multitouch more than the game.

Not really sure how to make it better or fix it.

Ah I see. Thanks for that :). Well at least that solves the problem, now I just need to find a fix for it.

I just thought, I play Gun Bros on my N1 which uses multi touch I guess? 1 finger for movement, the other for shooting. So Multi touch does infact work on the N1, and when playing Gun Bros that is fine.

Maybe I downloaded a corrupt PSX emulator or something?
