Anyone found, or sourced an NZ or Australian source for replacement lenses that don't cost the same or more than just buying a brand new set? My Flak Drafts have some deep gashes in them after a few years of abuse but the frame is fine. Looking around, I can see UK and US based options with ridiculous wait times. Am I better to just wait for a sale in NZ and buy brand new?

I've had no end of issues with getting lenses. I have carbon blades and actually the last time, they replaced my entire glasses for free when I tried hard to get them to get me lenses :)

YMMV.

For what it's worth, I doubt you could ever get me not to buy Oakleys ever again. They have replaced my Carbon Blades no less than 4 times, all well outside of warranty. I have been wildly and totally impressed with their after sales service. They do have a tendancy to pop off the frame, and I was in the US the first time it happened, went into a store, and they just swapped them on the spot no questions asked no receipt required.

Bought some for my Holbrook's from the Oakley place in Dress Smart Onehunga a while back. Still very dear but from memory about $70 less than a new pair of glasses.

It can be a little tricky with Oakley. I don't know how many pairs I have, Juilets and Romeos that gather dust, M Frames in cricket bags, numerous pairs for golf and mountain-biking. If you can find genuine replacements lenses, buy multiples.

I have some Racing Jackets which I love for mountain biking, I have maybe a dozen tinted lenses but cannot get the photo-chromatic lens anymore which stayed in a pair exclusively. I'm kicking myself for not stocking up on spares.

It looks like they are still making them so I'd ask your local shop how much they are to get in.

Good idea. Will ask my optician who also stock Oakley's what options they can get in.

I’ve had success with 3rd party lenses from eBay (Holbrook), pretty cheap and fit and quality excellent.

I went through a few replacement lenses for my Straight Jackets and to be honest none were of the same quality as the original Oakley lenses. I then ended up losing glasses a few months ago and had to buy some replacements - it's crazy to think my glasses had somehow become a retro model (I got them in about 2010) and were selling for more 2nd hand than what I purchased them for in the US new!

I bought my last lot from Aliexpress. Several years ago now. Got three sets at the time.

Maybe I'm not fussy but they seem ok to me. Still going strong.

That was for the straight jacket.
