Dyson V11 Outsize review
Posted on 29-Jul-2020 14:03

For many people, a vacuum cleaner is just something you buy without much care or planning. But when you stop and think you realise how important to your overall home health (and personal health) these devices can be. When you have a family member that can be prone to asthma attacks due to allergies, keeping your house clean is a must....

Install Unifi Protect on ODroid C2
Posted by BarTender on 2-Aug-2020 08:10
BarTender
I had a conversation with someone a while ago about Unifi Protect and the fact it only works on a Cloudkey. Since a Cloudkey is just an 64bit ARM I thought I would try installing it on an ODroid C2. This is completely unsupported and who knows if it will stop working in the future... so YMMV. Insta...

Online shopping is the way to go these days to get those products you want cheaper - sure. If the items are available. I've been finding lately a few well known online stores are advertising goods as being in stock or at least available for "click and collect" orders - so ship in from another store...

I purchased a second hand APC UPS (Smart-UPS 750 XL) off Trademe a while ago and purchased a Network Management Card for it to remotely control it. The issue I had was the runtime remaining was always below 5 mins even though it has a brand new APC legit battery. Finally figured out somehow the Ba...
LiPo Charging

Since I now have a new toy that uses LiPo batteries, and came with a charger, I thought I'd better figure out how to use it. Its not as straight forward as the old days of plugging in the 7.2V battery into a charger and leave it for hours on end to get 5mins run time. But thankfully, I found a vid...
