Surely a UA32H5500 would be the replacement... the new version of the TV you ordered.
JB's need to do the right thing and give you the correct TV. They accepted the sale, now they need to put it right... heck, it shouldn't get this far.

The National bank credit card so now ANZ.  thanks for the info.  I'm going to ring the bank again

freitasm: You can always call your credit card company and ask for a chargeback saying this is not the item you want. If the TV was really shipped you then return it to JB HiFi.

bank says can't do chargeback now.

Why not?

That doesn't sound right

I'm with Nathan on this.   If you don't mind us asking, what bank and type of credit card?   As an example Westpac's general rules (published http://westpac.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/291) includes:

You've paid for goods or services but they are not what you requested

Which based on your description would include your description, you really need to ask your bank explicitally why they are saying a chargeback in this case is not possible as it sounds like you believe you ceased authority for JB to debit your card.

old3eyes: Are you far from a JBHiFi shop as I wouldn't buy something like this online site unseen?

I would , based on online reviews.

That's absolutely why I was angry about, no communication after I didn't take their offers, no reply all the emails I sent afterward, and now they charged my credit card even I've requested to cancel the order.  it's frustrating buying from them

mattwnz: Have you already purchased one from somewhere else? If they have sent one, and you hadn't agreed to one of the ones they offered you, then they must have sourced the one you ordered. But sounds like poor customer service if they didn't tell you this, nor cancelled the order when you requested it.

1/2 of companies do not respond to emails.

I never rely on them -- I sent about 5 emails to lenovo support recently, they answered 0.

You have to speak to a person and even then it is not guaranteed they will listen. eg, I tried to cancel an amazon order which had nearly a year of 'postponements'. Spoke directly to 3 people who all assured it would be cancelled.   Then, they shipped it.

Yes, agree.  They were still advertising that model on their website a couple of days more after my order.  misleading customers

Having a good price to attract customers to visit their shops and tell customers no more stock but can offer you another tv which always lower level,  is this how they sell tv?

Some retailers will advertise products at a low price when they have no stock for a few reasons...
One - to build back orders and to lock in some business for the upcoming month.
Two - to hurt the rest of the market who price promise.
