I just rang up magnum mac and they said that vodafone are saying that they can't sell just the handsets but they are still unsure at the moment.

They said I should ring up tomorrow to get the final verdict.

I hope they are able to get away with selling just the handsets.

Ha - the Vodafone store on Lambton Quay just looked annoyed when I asked them how many they were getting and just said, rather tersely, "don't know" :)

Maybe they'd been asked a few times..........

It's good to see the disconnect between Vodafone stores and Vodafone HQ continues, and unfriendly staff.

Very true about the staff.

I went into a VF store a couple of days ago, waited at the front counter while the guy was talking to his mate on his side (who didnt work at VF) for about 2 minutes.

Then his mate left. There was no "Sorry mate (meaning me), ill be with you in a minute or two" - or anything similar.

Totally changed my mind on switching to vodafone.

I see you can now order at the Apple online store and save $30 on vodafone prices, but you will have to wait 5-7 days to receive it.
