rmt38:

Speaking of which - when did Jeff Goldblum become cool? Don't hear about him in ages then he stars in ID4 and gets mentioned in the new Thor movie. Popped up on Graham Norton too.

Depends who you ask.  Jurassic Park was when I started appreciating him.  No wait, Buckaroo Banzai, which I guess surfaced after Jurassic Park.  Pity the sequel was never made.

I wonder if I can get the remastered collins songs to listen to, to see if there's a point getting them.  Will look on Amazon or Google play for samples.

Spotify has them!

So, Phil Collins has annouced a comeback tour.

Trying to decide if I should go. I REALLY want to, but it's gonna cost a lot. I am worried he won't have aged well. I am really enjoying the remastered content. I might shout myself for my 40th :)

I have had mixed results seeing my favourite singers who are older. Celine Dion - EPIC! Surprisingly Cliff Richard, also awesome, but some were pretty average. I didn't think Billy Joel was as good as I'd imagined. Cher was awful, Stevie Nicks, terrible, Roxette, wish I hadn't gone.

So far my favourite thing I've found was the remaster of colours. Interesting I was in Berlin, in the lobby of my hotel waiting for someone, when someone else tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if I wasn't listening to Colours. He said he was at the 1990 Concert that Phil had performed this live. He said he has seen quite a number of concerts and this is amongst his favourite performances and favourite concerts.

My kids are CRAZY for this song (4 and 7).

My Son wants to learn to play the drums!

Well, I am super excited, I have managed to secure by complete fluke, 5th row center seats at the upcoming PC concert in Paris in June next year!
