Courier, courier, where are you? :P

Edit: The tracking says that my package is at the depot and not yet with a courier. I wonder whether I should drive down there...

… which was unsuccessful. The local depot computer is down so they couldn't update the status; my PS4 is already with a courier. Hopefully it'll arrive soon! :)

Got mine delivered at 7.40am. Can say I was happy to be woken up by the courier today.

Picked mine up from EB games this morning. Will fire it up at lunchtime to make sure I'm not part of the 1%.

Such a sigh of relief when my ps4 booted up correctly.
I downloaded the firmware update on my pc last night, put it on a usb stick this morning and before I was done the ps4 had already downloaded it itself.

Love the controller, especially the dicky little speaker.

No DLNA is a killer for me though :-(

Edit: I have no ps4 friends so if anyone wants to add me halfbakednz is my psn

manage to buy PSN credit from amazon and buy games from US store on my ps using those codes in my vwallet.

wasnt able to use my CC directly as the address didnt match the US address i put in.

but i saved 2cents ($10 code costs $9.99 and $50 costs $49.99 :)) of course i would of had to pay twice for the exchange conversion on my cc....

I'm partway through setting up a forum for "older" gamers (I'm 38) which I'll hopefully have done by next week.  A place where you can meet people that like to play online but who don't necessarily play often and don't want to play/be insulted by younger gamers.

www.banter.co.nz (because trash talk is for children)

What a great idea! It may also help for matchmaking with fellow oldies (41 here) who may no longer have the same lightening reflexes of our younger gaming peers.

haha exactly my problem.  As a youngster I was convinced I'd always be good at video games, turns out age and kids has had a significant impact on my ability :-)

Thats why I enjoy the Battlefield series so much. You can suck at online gaming, and yet still rack up points & level up if you're good at playing a support role.
