The next round of launches is 1 Oct, but I don't yet know whether NZ is included.

Anyone noticed that the Apple NZ website now has a 'Buy Now' button on the 5s page?

It links to a dead page at the moment, but it's possibly a sign of something imminent because that button wasn't there yesterday.

I can confirm that the "Buy Now" button wasn't there yesterday. This is indeed a good sign :)

Also being sold on GrabOne for $945 ($955 delivered), but interestingly they've only sold 2 of them so far.

That's interesting how we as consumers are being a little bit more conscious rather than jumping straight on the band wagon.

Wow really? Could you tell me where you got this information from? If the next round is on the 1 Oct, I'm 99.9% SURE it will included NZ. YEAH!!!!! I'm super excited sorry.

My memory is patchy, but I bought my 4S as soon as they went on sale in NZ and I'm pretty sure the launch date was announced at least a couple of weeks in advance.

I'd be very surprised if they suddenly become available to buy this coming Tuesday without there having been any prior announcement.

They're doing things differently this time around though, keep that in mind. The 5s wasn't even available for preorder in the US.

Also, it won't be an "available now" situation , it'll be a case of "Buy Now (Ships in November)" or something like that. Just my prediction anyway!

I'm afraid that I'm not able to tell you where I learned that, but I just saw that it has been corroborated by a smaller US provider (remember that US dates are backwards).

I think you'll find that the US was part of the first wave. So in my opinion subsequent US launches may not have anything to do with future international launch waves. That said, I could be wrong.
