Damager: Already seeing Super Amoled now on the Galaxy S Laughing

The likes of the upcoming Infuse and Galaxy S II feature Super Amoled Plus screen technology.

I thought that clip showed the difference between the SAMOLED and SAMOLED+ screens. I must be more tired than I figured. Hmmm bedtime methinks.

Cheers,
R2D2

Galaxy S has gone to its new owner. HTC Sensation has gone to its new
owner. Galaxy S3 has gone to its new owner. Now using Galaxy Note 3. Skipping Note 4 I think...

Spot on R2! You're quite correct. I may have been trying to emphasize that the previous chap was wow'd at the super amoled display, which we do already have. I think he actually meant the super amoled plus display which is most certainly a much more brighter and vivid display from that video.

Sorry, no I was meaning that super amoled is already fantastic, and they manage to make a screen evern better! that amazes me.  I thought that they may have just increase the resolution a bit more like HTC are doing. That is the ONLY thing i slightly like about the iphone 4, its massive res - emphasis on only and slightly  :D

For me the screen resolution was the only disappointing thing, I was really hoping for qHD. I may end up getting an Atrix too and seeing which I like best. Overall the package is compelling enough for me to accept another device with a WVGA screen.

What resolution is the atrix?  For me amoled plus outweighs higher resolution LCD

Yikes! That's a hundred pounds more than Clove! Albeit that both are pre-orders and the price could change. But Expansys is always more than Clove.

Definitely interested in this. Had my iPhone 4 for 6 months or so and loved it, but I think it's time for a change :D.

Then end of the year, replace it with another platform :D

It will be tempting even though I have only had my galaxy s for 6 months and have 18 months left on my contract.
Will have to see how work goes I have only got my first contract since November and the money is not all that good.

But having the Flash the 8mp camera and the better battery it is very tempting.

And you also have the option of switching networks if one pisses you off enough which is currently not an option with the current model let alone most phones.

Yea.

Has anyone heard any more news on the release date?   Will they announce the official release date beforehand? or will it just suddenly become avaliable?

I am itching with anticipation
