I'm going to the UK end of June and I'm trying to figure out if there is anyone I can use that to buy the phone without VAT or GST and shipping. Can't find anything, their duty free doesn't seem to include cellphones

The price on this phone is insane. WAY overpriced.

Would jump on it in a heart beat if the pricing was more user friendly.

Compared to what? The Galaxy S is still being sold by Telecom and Dick Smiths for $999. An extra $220 gets you the Galaxy S2 (http://www.mobicity.co.nz/samsung-galaxy-s2.html).

And don't even both with iPhone pricing...

Compared with other Dual Core phones.

Wouldn't get it in NZ. Cheaper from the UK.

I held out on buying the original SGS after hearing the issues with GPS.

Will be interesting to see what problems, if any, occur with the new one.

My current phone (Nokia 8530) is starting to get a bit sad, battery does not last as long as it once did.

Will be interesting to see if there are any improvements in battery life too.
