EvilMonkey: @Joker and Damager.

Thanks heaps for the replies.  Very helpful.  When I said Spamming ISC I meant thats all I could find using the search function.

I just used the wrong term.  I ment the Kernel. Or whatever.  Problem is I can't find one to match. Which is why I posted the details.

And I have red that intire link posted as well as 10 other guides exactly like it.  I always get stuck on the part where it tells me to "just pick one that is close to your one, it will probably work".

It's the probably part I don't like.   Like I said I could take a guess but if either of you could point me in the right direction for which kernal should do the trick that would be good.

Hi EvilMonkey

No worries! Hopefuly you're on your way asap.

I checked my downloads and this is the one i downloaded and ran on my i9100t:

CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KH1-v4.1-CWM4

This is in post #5 on ChainFire's CF Root Thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399

Awesome thanks much I already have it cause it was the one I thought I should use but I wasn't sure.  As in some other posts on XDA forums it had some really really close ones from austrailia,  I just dont really understand the difference,  if there even is any.

If this goes smooth I will try ICS thanks heaps.

Edit:  All done and working used the above file thanks much.  Might give ICS a go in a few days :D.

Glad to hear! The world's your oyster now :-)

K1000716:
Kelem: I found it easy to get carried away with Titanium Backup and went a bit to far at times, but its easy to undo and correct, probably one of the most used apps i would own and worth the small price to get the pro imho.

Having a look at the Omega ROM atm looks good

The apk list that's floating around is a pretty awesome resource for this too. Helps to know what all those apk's are and whether it's safe to ditch them.

Omega V7 (LP3) is about to be released in the next day or so if anyone is interested in trying it shortly.

hmm still 4.0.3 - might wait till 4.0.4 - quite stable for me :) hate to have deleted bloatware popping up again after flashing and needing to re delete (with risk of deleting something important that i didn't recognise)

Hi, all great roms listed above have you tried Neat Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569686. This is a stock. ICS 4.3 with the latest LP3 and works will with ICS Domination v4.1 This rom is later that the just released Omega 7. It's a very fluid no FC and the rom does come with extras and is recommended by Vertumus

just flashed Omega 7, getting sick of deleting bloatware although its easily done but its obvious devs don't have the cost of broadband we kiwi's do.

Very smooth and fast can't tell about battery as of yet but assume not much differant to 6 so may try other kernal in a few days

The first thing I get rid of is Swype. Then I can install the Beta.  If I can't get rid of Swype then I'm not interested in the ROM.  How picky am I?  I agree, there's loads of apps that I'm not keen on and I'm always trolling through the zip file to see what I can safely remove.

I've had v7 downloaded for several hours now.  Must be time to flash it .... after dinner.

being that I haven't strayed too far from darkyrom you get spoilt as they remove all the bloatware so all you are left with is basics which works well for speed. Also the darkyota installed and removed everything very quickly so have it loaded and using it on Omega.
