I dont know about your folk but i am sick and tired of Vodafone's level of customer service.
In the last 2 years i have not once been able to get one call resolution. i think that this is due to Vodafone not training there staff like they use to. i recall a day when you could call up about anything and the person at the other end new exactly how to deal with it.
I would love to see the call history on my account as i'm sure it would be many many pages long, manly me complaining about something taking 3 - 4 weeks to complete and thats IF the rep has decided to leave notes.

My latest saga has been dragging on for 2 weeks now, my faxmail isnt working, despite many calls they reassure me that i will be called within 48 hours from someone with resolution and still nothing, so i decide to call the dealer support line as i know.. *think that they know what they are doing. well the first thing that he tells me is that for the last 2 weeks the "TICKET" that was logged was sent to the wrong department, WHY DID CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT SEE THAT.

Oh, i have sent 2 complaint emails, both had a return email saying we will call you within 48 hours, 3 months later i am still waiting. I called customer service's and asked for a manager and i was told "sorry sir but they are in another building and i cant transfer you" i laughed and hung up, what else can you do..................................

I must say calling Vodafone customer service has been a bit of a pain in the past.

They used to be able to do everything 24/7.  Now, after 8pm, they cannot help with any account issues - and from what I have experienced, they cannot even log problems - until the next day.

I found e-mailing them was extremely useful.  I received a reply within 24 hours on each occasion.

Have they downsized their call centre?  I seem to get a lot of "We are overloaded" messages now - even on weekends.

Anyway, good luck!

I tried to call Customer Service yesterday (sunday afternoon) and got a "this service is overloaded, please try again" message.

Vodafone have deffinitely cut back on spending in that department.... it's been proven with the cutoff time at 8pm.

If you have a problem with their service, sue them. I did and won. Vodafone ordered to pay me over $600, and the cheque arrived after the order from court.

I too have found the Customer Help Desk to be ....um...unhelpful at times. I now call the Business Solutions line, and find the guys there to be altogether more "switched-on" as far as technical questions go!

I spoke to the business team already, i have an imate jasjam, i said that vodafone.co.nz say that ANY 3g mobile can access Sky TV, i said i cant even access live.vodafone.com.  anyway i can see it via wsp.live.vodafone.co.nz but i cant access sky TV despite what their site says.  there overall willingness to serve there on account customers has just turned to utter bullocks

The simple fact is your device is not capable. Complaining to their CS isn't going to fix that.

99% of 3G devices sold in NZ are Live! capable and can view all of the Live! services. Unfortunately the Windows Mobile 3G devices are now Live! capable so can't.

The device is a smart phone! PDA

Here is the line from the Vodafone site can't see the word " ANY "

" To watch Sky Mobile TV, all you need is a Vodafone 3G mobile and you'll be able to subscribe "

Is your imate branded " Vodafone "? Does the Specs from imate advise the phone supports WAP?

Thats like going and buying a petrol car and moaning it will not run on Diesel when you go a full up!! and advising the oil company that is not good enough

http://www.vodafone.co.nz/mobiles/gen/mobile_details_imate_jasjam.jsp

As you said above, and i quote
" To watch Sky Mobile TV, all you need is a Vodafone 3G mobile and you'll be able to subscribe "

my mobile is 3G (UMTS/HSDPA/GPRS/whatever)

Also sorry to be pedantic the JASJAM is NOT a "Smart phone" is a "Pocket PC" im told there is a difference

Your phone is not branded as 3G

It works on the 3G/HSDPA network that is very different from 3G branding and Vodafone Live branding

Vlive works on the 2G network as well

The link you have provided to the Vodafone website please advise where it says the handset will work on Vlive services!!

im sorry, is that NOT a 3G symbol on the JASJAM on vodafone's website!!!!!
it also does "video calling" this feature is also branded as a 3G service,
i have never said that the JASJAM is a LIVE phone, LIVE and 3G are two (2) different components.

I think you may have missed the point.
The issue is that the Vodafone website says "To watch Sky Mobile TV, all you need is a Vodafone 3G mobile and you'll be able to subscribe".

ThatGuy's phone is a 3G phone (JASJAM) and it won't do Sky Mobile TV.  The Vodafone site does NOT say it has to be Vodafone Live! so you are arguing the wrong thing.  The site merely says "all you need is a Vodafone 3G mobile", incorrect, it seems.  I doubt a Vodafone UK 3G phone would work either for that matter.

Cheers.
