Just saw the ad for the first time last night and I must say I liked it, but I do tend to go for crazy/silly things like that.

Kudos to Telecom's ad folks!

Nope - I don't like the ads at all.

I'm stunned that they say nothing at all.

There is no real message in them.
A good advert should be memorable and make you engage in the companies product - to be successful.

I personally find these just annoying.
It's a shame - Telecom HAVE had some good ads over the years - just none in the last couple of years.

I disagree (that they say nothing at all), the first ad is just an introduction to the 'toys' and ads from here on in should have reference to Telecom products and services.

I find it interesting how the marketing team are throwing everything in here what with appeals to cuteness and compassion, and a meekly sexual russian etc. I can see what they're trying to get at but the toys themselves just don't come off as being very intelligent/clever at all. Gorilla boyfriends and bimbo bunnies...there are far worse ads out there.

I find it amusing the thin references to Vodafone plans, like the dialog in the office where the Lion (name?) says to his co-worker "It's better than the 'Plan you choose' minutes.'

By having you all talking about the ads the marketing company must have done something right.

You truly believe that? I totally disagree with the "any publicity is good publicity" saying. I find terrible ads actually distract me from the product/brand and have a negative affect.

I personally think they're good fun. The lion ads do make me laugh the most.

And yes, any publicity is good publicity, absolutely. Whether you hate them or love them, the brand name is always there in your mind. Kind of like chinese whispers, the more people talk about the ads, the more the specifics of the ad are lost and whether it was a good ad or a bad ad, but the brand name has been put out there and that's the main thing.

They've obviously trying to cash in on the ads now.  Someone at work has seen the toys available for sale.  She's going off to buy the bunny - mainly because they say "I Know!" the same way <shudder>

You guys are all sooo sad!! Those ads are funny! Anyone who thinks they've really grown as an "invididual" (try and say it, not as easy as it looks) is pretty funny. And the gay lion who implies his workmate Wichard is more than just that, and the sidelong glance when he says it, priceless! and "I Love texting even though I don't have any thumbs, and I'm single, I knoow!" Kaz is great.

You guys have gotta get a sense of humour! I hate Telecom, but I love those ads.
