Voila!
Found the bios setting and enabled TPM.
PC health check now says I am ready for Win11.
Unfortunately it's RIP for all my other Windows machines. 😭
Delete cookies?! Are you insane?!
I'll stay with 10, I think - this one can't run 11, but it does everything I need it to.
from an Administrator Powershell
get-tpm
TpmPresent : True
TpmReady : True
TpmEnabled : True
TpmActivated : True
TpmOwned : True
Seems to be the fastest way to confirm if you have TPM.
and as I noted earlier.
tpm.msc
CPU: AMD 5900x | RAM: GSKILL Trident Z Neo RGB F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC-32-GB | MB: Asus X570-E | GFX: EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 3080Ti| Monitor: LG 27GL850-B 2560x1440

So if TpmPresent = false it's all over Rover?

If it's disabled in UEFI then it may show false (as it may hide its existence rather than just flagging it as disabled). And some systems have an optional TPM, where it can be added after purchase. So it may not be the end of the line.

Hah, just had a peek at my insider settings.
Should be interesting next week 🤞🏽
Mine just switched from the Beta Channel to the Release Preview Channel as per the email I Just got from MS.

My PC is a mere 9 years old :->
It gets failed on secure boot, and from a bit of googling it doesn't look like its a solvable problem? Might need a new PC in a few years then, hopefully the supply chains are cleared by then...
BIOS Mode Legacy
BaseBoard Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
BaseBoard Product Z77-D3H
Secure Boot State Unsupported
Virtualization-based security Not enabled
Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: TPM is not usable, PCR7 binding is not supported, Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not Modern Standby, Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected, Disabled by policy, TPM is not usable

Got an Insider email last night saying my computer wasn't up to muster and that I'd been moved from the Beta to Release channel. That's despite the compatibility tool saying I'm fine after enabling TPM. It's also on <1yr PC that I built over the summer. Sounds like shenanigans to me.
I suspect they did an 'audit' of machines at some point over the past couple of weeks (before you enabled TPM) and are reporting on that.
My Intel NUCs do not have a TPM.... so I guess I won't be able to upgrade to Win 11 from Win 10 Pro.
I have even checked the specs of more recent NUCs.... no TPM.
I haven't checked if a TPM can be installed in a NUC.

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.
This is beginning to look a lot like collusion between Microsoft and hardware vendors to kickstart another wave of new computer buying.

Yep sounds that way to me. It could bounce back on them..

That would be silly considering we're in a global chip shortage with delayed/sky rocketing shipping costs both of which look set to last for the next 2-3 years. The requirement for TPM is more likely to be from a demand for built-in ransomware protection which starts with a secure enclave. Lets just hope it doesn't end up like the bitlocker FDE issues with "hardware" encryption and keys with all 0's
