Having some trouble with Youshop with the last 3 parcels, they've all been held up with the status "NZ Customs Import Entry required"
I have followed all their processes, including uploading the invoice and made payment of the GST duty etc.. however 1 parcel has been like this since early Dec.
Surely the process of paying the GST upfront, and uploading the Invoice etc should quicken the release of parcels, thats the way it works for other courier services such as DHL, FedEX..
Once I get the these, this will be the last time I'm using Youshop..

Your issue is exactly what I am facing as well with the same "NZ customs Import Entry required'. How and have you been able to get any of your parcels released?
I'm starting to get the impression they have 'partnered' with someone that works for cheap but charges them a fortune for inquires. So squat on them until people squawk enough that it's either going to cost them to replace it, or cheaper to action an investigation
I received my Pixel 4 XL yesterday after it had sat in customs waiting to be cleared in for almost a 1 1/2 months - every one of the products had been sliced open, what were they looking for? it's a friggin mobile phone accessories and a leather case - all visible via an x-ray. Recent coverage appears that it is impacting more than just YouShop customers:

I understand that companies can get overwhelmed but living in denial about it by refusing to communicate with customers that you have a backlog isn't how you fix the situation. Be honest, own up, apologies and give a rough time frame on when the backlog is going to ben cleared.
I'll be still using YouShop but I'll remember next time not to use it during the Christmas period.

Google Earth shows OIA as the youshop forwarder.....

And by the look of those comments, also a popular proxy for masking your address when you nick credit cards and go on a spree
Youshop is generally good, but when things don't go well their communication is awful and they're not good to deal with. I've found the same with Amazon recently, they used to be great but when things don't go well with delivery they don't care, make you wait a long time, no compensation, etc.
I've only used ShipItTo once, but they seem like a really professional outfit. Their shipping costs more, as should be expected for a better level of service. Youshop can be half the price, and most things arrive inside the timeframe they promise, but for anything urgent or really important I might use ShipItTo.
I've used Youshop since launch and done over 100 orders through them.... but lately they have been rubbish. Slow to dispatch and very slow to response to enquiries. I had to return something to Amazon and it took 3 emails to actually get the return to happen.
I've used Shipitto but they are expensive and charge for everything.
So I've just done an order through Fishisfast - 4 items from Amazon. They repacked/combined them (free), supplied photos (free), and store them (free) while the other items were on the way. Each item appeared in my 'locker' a few hours after the Amazon delivery notification and the repacking was done within the day.
Cost for the delivery was $70USD with DHL for about $110 - but since what I ordered was $800NZD I saved that in GST vs using YouShop.
Price for the same size item via YouShop was $100 for express or $88 for economy + repacking (Which is really inconsistent with Youshop).
So I can't see myself using Youshop again personally.
Edit: Sorry I should add there is one downside... Amazon recognised the address as a reshipper so wouldn't ship a Ubiquiti item I wanted due to 'regulations'
Do we have more alternatives to Youshop apart from Shipito? Used the latter before when I needed something urgently, but they're really expensive.
Looking to buy some N95 masks which I need for travel in two weeks.
Two weeks is really quite quick - use ShipItTo and an express carrier IMHO.
