I have been experiencing slow speed with slingshot here are the details.
I have a Dynalink rta1320e conected up to a dir-300 dlink wireless router. The modem reports the speed as

tatistics
Downstream
Upstream

Line Rate
// " + downrate + " Kbps");
else
document.writeln(" ");

if (uprate != ' ')
document.writeln("" + uprate + " Kbps");
else
document.writeln(" ");

// done hiding
]]>
4898 Kbps
950 Kbps

Attainable Line Rate
// " + downALR + " Kbps");
else
document.writeln(" ");

if (upALR != ' ')
document.writeln("" + upALR + " Kbps");
else
document.writeln(" ");
// done hiding
]]>
5624 Kbps
943 Kbps

Noise Margin
// " + downNM + " dB");
else
document.writeln(" ");

if (upNM != ' ')
document.writeln("" + upNM + " dB");
else
document.writeln(" ");
// done hiding
]]>
8.9 dB
9.1 dB

Line Attenuation
// " + downLA + " dB");
else
document.writeln(" ");

if (upLA != ' ')
document.writeln("" + upLA + " dB");
else
document.writeln(" ");
// done hiding
]]>
55.5 dB
32.0 dB

Output Power
// " + downOP + " dBm");
else
document.writeln(" ");

if (upOP != ' ')
document.writeln("" + upOP + " dBm");
else
document.writeln(" ");
// done hiding
]]>
19.2 dBm
12.3 dBm

However when I download I only get like 90kbps? I have like 4 modems in the house ive tried every one of em and they all do the same is it a problem with me or slingshot?

I read the post its not exactly the same problem as mine. My modem reports the speed is fine but when I actually download something its really regardless if its http or p2p and youtube is slow to.

noise margin is a bit low (means it probably fluctuates a bit) and attenuation fairly high. Since the modem is synced at 4Mbps you would expect to get fairly good performance, so I wonder if you have tested it with P2P software like Bittorrent or limewire turned off on all computers. Also check that your router isnt too busy (ie no wildly flashing lights) before the test.

As well as failing to delete the html rubbish from your post, you also didnt show whether interleaving is on or off. That should have been displayed on the same page and the resulting transmission errors are a possible explanation for the performance, especially when the noise margin is a bit low. If you find interleaving off, ask the ISP to get it turned on.

yes when it works properly I can get over 500kbps download speed :D but for the past few days its been slow and sluggish and I have plenty of montly data left 13gb infact so I dont know what the problem is. And also interleave is on.

I presume you have switched off your modem for a minute? Sometimes I have to do that too, especially after running Bittorrent for a while. Think my modem is too cheap...

Yep Ive restarted the modem and all that. Ive redone the quick setup to and tried forcing my modem to run on just GDMT and no difference. Im really annoyed at this I cant download anything at the moment its just to slow :( Do you think it could be my dir-300 wireless router affecting it somehow?

The reason I asked you to check if the router looks busy is because any computer or wireless router could have traffic coming in. If your computer is connected through the wireless then it could easily be having problems. First set it to a different channel like 5 or 7 and see if it improves. Then plug the computer directly to the modem, and eliminate the wireless so you can isolate whether its a modem or wireless fault.
