That's right. As Sky and some others do not now charge for HD, then I guess the "Holy S**t! Thats obscene"  The $3-50 is quite a high % of the price

For what it's worth, they do bundle a little differently and price differently so a call to confirm is worth while before deciding. I found with the deal it was marginal to have everything so I got everything. I think I pay $63 which will drop to $53 after HD Ticket is gone in April.

I couldn't make up my mind so I went for the lot. It gets installed tomorrow so I guess I should get busy and rearrange some inputs.

Sky might be so grateful to see a new subscriber the CEO will come and install it himself :)

Yes but he will still staple the dish to the gate post, run the cable along the fence and up the downpipe, and then drill a hole straight through wall on the opposite side to the telly. Total install time twenty minutes!

It will be box in, cables plugged in, card activated and out the door. Probably 15 minutes.

My last install was less than 10 minutes. As long as it took for the box to boot and activation to occur.

To be fair I had prepped everything in advance, including all the cables etc.

Not sure what to make of this, I read it earlier. Good he feels confident enough to stamp his mark early, potentially with some new direction. I guess time will tell, though I am not entirely convinced a seismic shift is required, rather a focus on different areas of the business.

It looks like there could be some major changes coming. This would not be a bad thing. Sky has nothing I want at this time, but I will certainly be interested to see how things develop and I will keep an open mind for the future.

He is well qualified. I need to get him to implement my ideas. Centralise everything to one building. Get the full app out. Remove as many staff as possible as the migration for dish to STB occurs, so there is no waste. Give me a life discount.

It all went in without a hitch except for my fumble fingers messing up the Wifi password with the old school input method of the remote. I will put it on ethernet when I sort out my router issues.
