Are you able to add a network status page to your website? Some of us don't use social media.

My ADSL connection went wonky during the night, and still hasn't recovered, was initially seeing a whole lot of drops, but now PPP is just timing out. Waiting patiently for the helpdesk to have a look.

You'll see Bigpipe have added network status page at http://pages.bigpipe.co.nz/network-status

Also interesting to hear about upcoming work to aggregate traffic to local PoPs instead of in Auckland, I wonder if this will give the ability to hand off traffic somewhere else in the country too rather than just Auckland

Worst part with Fiber is that it *should* be really solid - so when something goes wrong I tend to automatically assume its my problem.Especially when its something intermittent.

Exactly my thought process this morning!

Mine, too. I'd never had issues with the connection so assumed it was my modem.
