johnr: I have not confirmed anything has changed so yes it will be the same, Issue seems to be with your connection and that is why I emailed you asking for a trace route to the host

hi john,

I have already given you all of the information you need to find and fix the fault.

Not sure what else you would require

You need to sit quietly and wait for the very helpful, and may I say very professional, people to do whatever it is they do. If they need anything else they will ask you for it.

It is good to see you have dropped the attitude you arrived with. I was about to start taking bets on how long it would be before you got banned.

Certainly looks to be just related to your connection.

Cheers

i will reboot the router to get a new ip.

it will be interesting to find out from vodafone what the root cause is

thanks,
rebooting the router has made no difference.
Waiting for vodafone is all i can do,
Hopefully they don't ask me for more information i've already provided

and if they do, you will just shake your head quietly to yourself and then politely provide it again

sometimes things take a little time and can be a little frustrating but the right people know your issue and its being looked at.

Rebooting wont if it is what it appears to be..

The trick to getting that resolved would be, firstly mention something isnt right. - Clearly you have done this step already.

Secondly, provide any requested information - Clearly you have done this already.

Lastly, Sit and wait. Network changes dont happen instantly. - This appears to be the stage your up to.

Be glad JohnR is supporting you here, he could have left you out cold having to deal with calling up vodafone to get  this ball rolling.

This is not a 2 second change please leave it with us, It needs to go thru design as advised above

You have not lost service and your internet connection is working as it should so it's not going to be a knee jerk reaction to change anything
