tbbbb: any update

Jase2985: sometimes things take a little time and can be a little frustrating but the right people know your issue and its being looked at.

Just sit back and wait, they will let you know when its been fixed.

Hopefully Vodafone aren't actually re-designing their core network here... it simply looks like during provisioning, customer has been mapped to the wrong handover. undecided

i know you want a resolution, but you issue probably isnt a high priority, people that are paying for connections and cant connect at all probably take a little bit more of a priority over you.

No need to bump the thread, As advised bottom of page2 it's with the design team they know why the traffic is going via ChCh and the way to correct it, Now it needs to follow the correct process, It's not a fault so it's handled different and yes will take longer

Thanks

Well if you aren't content on waiting, then go get employed by VF, then do it yourself while at work.   :)

Planned work / changes go into a list of things to be done in order (your change is on this list) Faults are worked on with much higer priority and don't require change request

If this was changed under fault and went pear shaped then you would be starting another thread that you don't have an internet connection,

It's not just your connection that is going to be migrated to improve the routing

The English or Marketing version of this would be something like, "It won't happen over night but it will happen!"
I personally would not be expecting anything immediate and probably not something that would meet your definition of soon.
These are just my guesses based on some experience with this type of change request.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

Thank you and you are correct and it's quite a change going in as well

Thanks,
It is nice to know this is not a fault and that your network is designed to operate this way.
Given that that you cannot provide any reasonable expectation on when this would be resolved, Would i have reasonable grounds to get out of the 12 month contract i just resigned with your company?

Is your internet connection working? Yes I would say ' no ' as you are on a consumer grade internet connection best effort and as I have advised a CR is in the system to move all impacted connections to a new HOL you just need to hold tight and wait for the migration (not just your connection will be migrated)

The routing has very very little impact to your actual internet connection 99% of users would not even know or care
