Next Apple event is scheduled for 22nd of Oct, so more details may be released then on when iPhone 5S/5C is coming to NZ and other countries.

The 22 October event is nothing but a rumour at this stage.  It is probably likely to happen but Apple have not officially announced it yet.

The rumour mill is generally right about event dates, I imagine because they're leaked by Apple. The invites go out a week before the event itself, so whatever the case we'll know for sure next week.

I too suggested this in my post but also pointed out that it was only a rumour at this stage as the previous post said it like it was a fact.

According to Engadget, 5S and 5C to launch in NZ by 1 Nov:

http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/09/apple-iphone-5s-5c-launch-20-markets/

But Cult of Mac says Friday 25 Oct:
