Incidentally the HTC Desire S that my partner ordered from Clove via Airsure Tracked Mail arrived yesterday and she wasn't stung GST (just saying).

+ for order being dispatched. No doubt these will all be rolling into the country on the same shipment. Down to the local couriers how quick people get them I guess.

Im so tempted especially watching you all awaiting your deliveries..... Im feeling confident the gps and camera will be fine..
Now for me its down to whether 4.3 inches is going to be comfortable or not.....
I still think 4 inches is the sweet spot.. but with those specs.. i might have to :)

You're lucky in that the SGSII is Quad band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and
Quad band UMTS (3G) 850/900/1900/2100. You can go with any NZ carrier and you should get great results.

I recommend 2Degrees highly for price and service particularly if you're in their data zones. If you're a heavy data user, XT would be my pick for over all performance in most areas.

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz

My HTC Desire crapped out twice, first time I returned it to Clove and apart from the freight total of about $90 return and a 5 week wait over all it was fine.

Second time I had a bitch to HTC  and they agreed to service it in Singapore, which you think would be quicker considering I sent it to them from Singapore Airport on my way home 3 weeks ago, but its been repaired for over 2 weeks now and I am still waiting for the idiots to ship it to me.

NZtechfreak: Phonearena full review proper is up now:

http://www.phonearena.com/reviews/Samsung-Galaxy-S-II-Review_id2728

Read through this thinking they are looking for faults in this review, and then saw them pushing the iPhone and the penny dropped. Then I came to the comments and it seems others are thinking the same.
