Disrespective: OK so I know others will want to know, and I certainly want to know more about where things get routed.
My DHL 1-3 day delivery from Clove goes like this so far:
7 Arrived at Sort Facility LONDON-HEATHROW - UK LONDON-HEATHROW - UK 09:13
6 Departed Facility in EAST MIDLANDS - UK EAST MIDLANDS - UK 06:32
5 Processed at EAST MIDLANDS - UK EAST MIDLANDS - UK 01:48
NEXT DAY
4 Arrived at Sort Facility EAST MIDLANDS - UK EAST MIDLANDS - UK 23:26
3 Departed Facility in SOUTHAMPTON - UK SOUTHAMPTON - UK 19:55
2 Processed at SOUTHAMPTON - UK SOUTHAMPTON - UK 19:14
1 Shipment picked up SOUTHAMPTON - UK 15:36
I've seen other shipments on xda go to Heathrow before going to East Midlands but I think they were destined for the USA. *shrug*
I don't think we need lists of everyones statistics but for those still waiting it might be nice for them to know what sort of timeframe they might be looking at. *shrug*
nzgeek:nzgeek: Received my tracking number from Mobicity about an hour ago. According to FedEx, the phone left Hong Kong, headed to the FedEx location in Guangzhou, China, and has departed there. ETA is Monday.
Update: In transit at Singapore.
Kilack:Don't take it the wrong way but the thread is going to be hell ugly if everyone starts posting how their courier tracking is going..
Kilack: I think its way too much info or this particular thread.. The thread is on the sgs2 not on how couriers ship things, thats just my opinion.Don't worry, i won't take it the wrong way. I'm plenty old enough to wait. By the comments of others it seems many can't... ;) I'll leave it at that.
I also think if people are old enough to buy a sgs2 then they should be at the age of having a little patience :)

Spong: Clove don't appear to have mentioned how long the warranty for the SGSII is, so I emailed them. I also asked what their precedure is for warranty and received this reply. (see below)

"Yes it is 2 years. We are not sure whether you have a Samsung office in New Zealand as obviously that would be easier for you. Otherwise you can ship the phone to us and we will deal. Hopefully it will not come to that though!"
If there are any problems with privately imported phones, I'm pretty sure they'll need to go back to Clove/Samsung UK. The following comment was placed on one of the Trademe auctions. (see below)
"Hi, This product does not carry the local manufacturer's warranttee. This product will need to be supported in the market that you purchased the product from. We can track parallel imported product. Please make this very clear to your customers so you don't mislead them. Head of Samsung Telecommunications NZ kimba62 (2) 2:05 pm, Thu 5 May"

nzgeek:
Regardless of how authentic the message is, the key thing is that imported phones do not have a manufacturer's warranty.
Samsung are far from alone here. Almost any electronic devices you buy these days have warranties that are tied to the country of purchase. Sometimes you can transfer the warranty to a different country, but that's up to the manufacturer. Hardly anything carries an international warranty.
ArtooDetoo: I'm guessing you mean that warranty claims for personally imported phones aren't covered by the local importer, which makes sense as they'd have had no income from the sale to cover such claims. But an imported phone is covered by whatever warranty applies in the country in which the purchase was made of course.
Ambrose_1: Anyone else think its weird you can remove the sim without the battery out but not the SD card?
