Yes... and no... You can downgrade the Smart plan after 6 months but still receive the double minutes offer, my employer reimburses me for my monthly charges (so the only cost I have is the phone itself) and I wouldn't really consider moving networks as I have vodafone family which is well used by everyone in the group... so yes.. it was 'cheap'.![]()

You sure about keeping double minutes?
Terms and conditions
- The Smart Plan Double Minutes Offer ("Offer") is available from 20 April 2011 until 30 June 2011.
- To be eligible for the Offer you must be a new Vodafone Customer signing up to an Eligible Plan or an existing Vodafone Customer who is resigning on an Eligible Plan.
- Eligible plans are all Smart Plans (1-5), and all Smart Plans for iPhone (1-5).
- Offer not available for customers who plan transfer during existing plan term.
- The Offer provides double the standard plan minutes on the specific Eligible Plan for the period you remain on that Plan e.g. If you sign or resign to Smart 1, you will get 60 minutes, rather than the standard 30 minutes.
- If you move to a different plan (including any other Eligible Plan) you will not be eligible for the Offer.
- Vodafone On Account terms and conditions apply.
StephenNZ:
Well... I read the same thing, but the manager at Auckland Downtown Vodafone insisted that you'll still recieve them if you downgrade plan (obviously at double the lower rate)... Seemed strange to me, but I asked several times and got the same answer.
I can't see myself downgrading any time soon anyway...

LifeSteala:defnz: Anyone know where I can buy an S2 case in Wellington?
Edit: Preferably a "barely there" one
I don't think this case is available in NZ at the moment. I've searched and searched to no avail. If you find one, please let me know!.. Love the "Barely There" cases...
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
