are there any roms that has a working jkay deluxe? and the best launcher?

on the jkay deluxe website it says "ICS version is coming soon" but on some roms they say jkay deluxe is integrated ... true or not? also are modems worse than the GB ones (i'm on XXLP6 GB 2.3.5)

well tried resurrection albeit briefly it was smooth as people have said but just about everything I used would lockup and FC after about 5 minutes, most likely some easy fix but decided to try Omega as Damager had said and I had looked at it and liked the eye candy.

Well have to say it is very pretty and like the kitchen so may leave it on for a while and see how it goes.

Usually wiping the cache/dalvik and a permissions fix after flashing the ROM does the trick.

I recommend Wanamlite, been pretty stable for me with improving battery life through the last few updates.

You've got your phone back from the States already then?
I found it to be pretty good (for ICS). You used CPU Spy and betterbatterystats to look for any obvious problems?

Otherwise try an LP2 based rom. There are a couple out already and several more in the pipelines. I'm beta testing Omega V6 LP2 at the moment and it's running pretty well. Too early to say about battery life though.

Wannathingmejig is based on LP2 thats not even an offical samsung S2 release?

Im gona flash LPQ HD again and this time use the stock kernel (i flashed the hacked one) i found the KP8 modem to be the best for 2 degrees, i always seem to have 2 bars at least no matter where i am.

Will check out CPU spy.

XWLP2 is the latest official European firmware (Russia). Source

Edit:
Have you tried undervolting or underclocking using the beta siyah kernels?

Not specific to the S2 but does anyone know how to copy the downloaded apps and data only (ir not the phone internal apps) to transfer to another phone? Tried Titanium but I transferred everything from a Galaxy S to the S2 which caused issues.

Use titanium, but use the batch restore user apps option. Do *not* restore system apps/data with Titanium, it's a recipe for disaster!

(For the record, I've been using Titanium since the last two years to migrate my apps across various devices and all sorts of ROMs.)
