Omega & working fine for me although battery life not that great but hasn't since I went to ICS. I use Nova launcher and no issues with that at all certainly better than apex although i upgraded to Nova prime.

May change kernal this weekend and gauge difference.

Phone not really working,  what are my options.

I just did an update for SU, which popped up by itself.  Which I assume is superuser.  And about 5 secs after that I accidently uninstalled TW launcher in TI backup (was trying to uninstall the app above it).  Now my phone boots up to the lock screen and the touch screen doesn't seem to work.

What are my options?  It is probably the TW launcher uninstall that broke it.  How do I get this back?

I can get to download mode.  Am I best to just load a custom rom like Fluxmod?  (I have not done this before I have only just recently rooted my phone).

All instructions seem to want you to do it via CWM and to wipe the phone first.  I dont really have that option now.

Any help appreciated.

EDIT:  I can get to the CWM recovery screen.

I am on the ROM that came with it.  So I dont really have anything to flash.  I probably could flash a rom but I'd prefer to just reinstall the TWlauncher if someone knows how to do that.

I would try and find a zip version of TW launcher and download it. If you have an SD card transfer the zip to it. once SD back in phone go to CWM and install from Zip there.
If you are still unsure what to do please ask

not an expert on that so may pay to wait until someone that knows posts but if you can't use phone you could do a reset but will wipe all data but if you have titanium backup you will be fine.
factory reset is in CWM recovery

Just tried that.  It says installation aborted.

Here are the install instructions.

""""Installation
Install the tw4.zip in recovery (also contains ShareApp.apk; this will remove the old twlauncher, so make sure you have another launcher as backup installed!) (if zip does not install the app, /system is not mounted rw, then push the app manually to /system/app/ [remove TouchWiz30Launcher.* if present!] or
install the launcher as normal app. This will have some restrictions: for example it cannot uninstall apps (not really tested; only possible if you don't already have a twlauncher installed!)"""

How do I access ssytem/app to manaully push it there?  Or how do I mount system as RW.

Thanks for help BTW.

If you can get to CWM recovery then just reset data, and it'll go back to stock rom.

What is that gonna reset though? Will I lose all my settings and stuff?  Might be my only option if I cant figure out how to install this .zip or APK file in CWM recovery.

By reset data,  do you mean Wipe data/factory reset.

I ordered a battery this morning, and received an email saying it would either be sent today or tomorrow. It does appear there has been a run on them! Really looking forward to it.

With some extra battery life and the new data deals from 2degrees, I'll be able to suck up as much Audiogalaxy as I can listen to! :-)
