Asrafrate: So my phone is currently in transit. According to the tracking details it's at the local FedEx facility in Singapore.

Does anyone know how long it takes for stuff to arrive? (this is a Mobicity shipment.)

PM sent with full tracking details of my Mobicity supplied SGS2. It was four days to a main centre, five to others.

kiwitrc: If it is FEDEX then barring GST hassles overnight from Singapore. If you have a tracking number call FEDEX 0800733339 and give them your Credit Card details to get it pre cleared, will speed things up.

Well if it is mobicity I doubt there would be any GST issues as they would not declare the full value of the phone as they always do.

Chances are the customs declaration will have a value of $200 like mine did and won't be checked by customs anyway.

Thanks guys :)

I've waited this long, I can wait a few more days. Who knows, I might get my screen protectors in time!

Knowing mobicity and their ways to avoid GST i dont think your phone is too far. Either way it is worth the wait. It is one brilliant device.

Hi there, I currently dont have this phone but am looking at buying it, this question relates to people who own it. Can you not load the camera when the battery has -20% remaining? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1099333

Sure it says there are fixes, but you shouldnt need a "fix" for this, it should just work on any %.

I believe this is the case, although my battery is too high to check right now...

Workaround is easy, just use another camera software, so its hardly a showstopper, but I totally agree - should be up to me if I want to burn battery on photos and video when the battery is low!

jpanwala: Hey guys, sorry for missing this info if posted here, has anybody experienced the beautiful default weather widget gets smaller if you remove it and want to read it again??

This is my first droid.. maybe there is something i have missed but if someone could tell me how to get it back, that would be very helpful!

Cheers?

Hold down the widget till the delete option comes up then release without moving it, you should then be able to drag the bottom right corner to resise it.

Hey thanks mate, that brings it back to normal...

Having real difficulty connecting it to my macbook pro for transferring photos.

Kies Air shows me the pics, but when I hit download, it asks me to install Java; funny as I am running the latest one on the macbook!

Bluetooth wont transfer any data even they are paired together, seems like they just don't "talk"... says "could not send" on the galaxy s2

USB mode acting weird as well. No external drive appears upon connection (not sure if that should be the case) nor do any photos appear in iPhoto; it does detect the phone but says "no photos"

Do I need something else to make it work?

You should be able to just set USB storage to on (in Settings/wireless networks/USB utilities).
Plug it into your Macbook Pro and it will show up as external storage and an SD card as a mounted device.
(I renamed them to "phone" and "SD Card" to help with the confusion of what your copying too or from.

works fine on the SGS2  ... you just have to at least add your facebook account into the social network hub ...then the faces in your contacts list/favs should sync and keep updated (as long as you have  the contact using the facebook pic as it's icon.  go contact edit to change that.)

PS found this handy app after trying to find an option on my SGS2 to change the default calendar color schemes .. google related ones can of course me updated online, but this is handy for the likes of yr exchange accounts etc..

hey mate, tried that, does not work. gives no option to set it to ON.

could you also please elaborate about the renaming? where is that to be done? Mine just shows phone memory and usb storage memory. SD card is not present.

Ok, drained my battery to under 20%, camera app still starts as per usual. I would guess that other user had some power Saving setting enabled...
