jpanwala: Hey guys... I have received my 32 GB micro SDHC card today by courier, and auto-doc is indeed the guys at streetbitz..

Just a warning though, dont freak out when you receive the parcel, was in a open unsealed box with no company name etc, there is branding on the card itself and it is working fine for me so far, so not so good out of the box experience, but hey if it works as it should, its a steal for 50 bucks! 31.03 GB free memory on mounting... :)

Just noted, since I installed Litening 1.5, I have the much hyped wake up lag on the lock screen. Was not there on KE7 stock!

Does it still happen if the 32G card is removed?

^^

yep it does. Card just recd today but has been third day since flashing the ROM. Let the battery run down completely from 100 to 0 and the phone went without a charge for close to 34 hours with normal usage and time spent checking out the ROM with no sync, intermittent wifi / GPS and 3G always on.. better than my iphone 3G i can say :)

I'd try loading it up with lots of say 2GB or larger files, try fill the whole thing up, maybe with a single MKV copied maybe 4-5 times

try each file, if any corrupts, then you might have a bad card, ie one with a fake boot table, showing as 32gb, but only really 2-4gb

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/461056781-freeshippinng-10pcs-ADATA-32GB-class10-New-Micro-SD-T...

They also look really similar to these, selling for $10 each on AliExpress.

So they didn't come in Original packaging at all? That to me screams counterfeit!
Any serial number with the memory card at all, for warranty purposes? or for checking with aData itself?

Is anyone else getting a warning about their external SD card being damaged when connecting to a PC (Windows 7) via USB debugging?

I've seen no symptoms of corruption with my data, so I'm more inclined to think it's just Windows not loving the filesystem on the card?

Is that with the 32gb one from the deal site?
I really have my doubts about "streetbitz"

Looking at their website, they are selling a Geniune Greddy Type RZ BOV for $199...
Found the same thing on Aliexpress, same packaging, for $29US each.  Definitely not genuine.  The major difference in the photos on their website and the real Greddy item is the base is brass on the genuine, chrome on the counterfeit

Sorry for being so cautious, but the amount of times I've been ripped off before through counterfeit items

Sorry, I should have clarified that - no, it's an A-Data Class 6 16Gb card that I've had since I got my original SGS in October last year - it's never missed a beat, which is why I'm more curious than worried!!

Oh sweet, weird, I did get that originally on my SGS, my 8gb Sandisk card failed, but that was after rooting it and modifying it a lot.  Happened to my mates phone too on an 8gb transcend.  Initial signs of failure were, the card stopped reading/writing halfway through a cycle, then dropped off and then would take a few seconds to reinitialise

Hmmm, does it allow you to do a detect and repair?  And if so, does it show all contents after the detect and repair?

I wasn't game to - I didn't want it converting the filesystem or anything silly like that, and making it unreadable to the phone. . . . .Will do some digging around XDA.

Flashed to Cognition S2 1.11 last night too. . . . .Android O/S it still running quite high, but crucially, the battery stats aren't showing the phone as being awake when it's clearly not!

Phone does seem much snappier and smoother too,  Will keep you all posted!

I'm waiting for the notification to be "extended" with the mobile data toggle.  Then I'm flashing :)

I've already exceeded my monthly broadband limit with Telecom (thanks to having staff working from home during the June quake) so I'm trying to be sensible and give no reason for them to drop me to dial up.  Two days to go and I'm FREE to do as I please again :D

Sorry, that was a long way of saying I could d/l the current version, but then I'd want to d/l the updated one when it was ready and that might make Telecom look at me suspiciously when I've already exceeded my monthly limit.

Yeah that is a little annoying, as having meant I could do away with Extended Controls completely, but I'm sure DG will release another no-wipe update containing it.

Android OS percentage is irrelevant in the context of no battery drain.

Hmmm....my phone just restarted itself. Hopefully just an issue with the ROM and not a hardware fault. Has never done it before and just flashed to Lite'ning 2.0 yesterday.

That's kind of the point I was trying to make - whenever I had severe battery drain, it always co-incided with the battery graph for Awake showing a solid blue bar; i.e. constantly awake when I wasn't even using it.

Android O/S was always quite high, even back on Froyo on my SGS. . . . .As you'd expect it to be, as it is the O/S of the phone!

I have already updated to 2.3.4 from samfirmware.com. Can someone please post a link to download lightening rom 2.0?
