Jaxson:alasta: The question is whether they will ever find the black boxes and, in the unlikely event that they do, will they provide any useful information
Yeah info I read way back at the start suggested some of these, especially the cabin voice recorder etc, are on a 2 hour cycle only, so there is a good chance they'll have a lot of silence only...
Dulouz: The purported debris may have been planted by the individuals who took MH370 to make it seem like it crashed into the Indian ocean.

networkn: They are sending the parts to France to investigate and see if they are indeed the parts from MH370, but holy crapsticks, SURELY confirmation is as simple as this:
Investigator to person who found aircraft bits:
"Please read out the numbers on the part you found"
"sure, they are xxxx.xxxx-xxx"
Investigator types numbers into registered part list:
"I can confirm this part belongs to MH370" or "I can confirm this is not MH370 but rather xxx"
Doesn't solve the mystery, doesn't 100% prove it, but makes then able to give a 95% likely confirmation.

joker97: there is only one possible cause - pilot, co-pilot.
