Ditto, thought I was saving myself money, instead it cost me $217. Some people may think that amount is small, but at the moment, when everything is costing more, it is more then I can afford for a cheap nasty countrfeit. I am really annoyed that they think it unfair I put the site on rip off website, when they have ripped me off, which is more unfair??
I find it all quite ironic that they have said they are sorting it out for you and that you are unfair for reporting them particularly when they are not even contacting people as they should be after having sent out fake items. It would be a joke if it didn't involve people and decent amounts of money. If they are sorting it out as they say, then they should be able to communicate that with you. Especially when they continue to add, please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance - or similar.
I don't mean to be insensitive but "if it looks too good to be true it usually is".
I-store rang far too mama alarm bells. This subject was first raised when I wanted an iphone 2G and someone said these guys had 16Gb models for $479(!!!)
But no physical address, no pickup option, no phone contact... It was far too high a risk to take.

I paid money on Thursday last week, bank can't reverse or can try and it costs $50 and there is no guarantee I can get it back as they may have closed their bank accounts.
I've emailed, tried ringing and everything. Don't think money will be coming back?????
It was for GHD straighteners which appear from other postings to be non genuine which is different from what they advertise on the website. Shame I didn't keep a copy of the page as the website has now completely disappeared. I am going to get my refund/reversal if its last thing that I do. I work for lawyers and under the Consumer Guarantees Act I am entitled to this refund.
It sounds like a few of us are in the same boat with i-store. I transferred money into i-store's account on Friday for a pair of GHD's and subsequently their website has been shut down and I cannot contact anyone involved in i-store via e-mail or phone. I contacted ANZ bank today (where i-store have their account) but they were not much use. I have requested my bank do a transfer reversal which is costing me $40 (ASB) and there is no guarantee I will get the money back...but worth a shot I figure. Before they would agree to go ahead and process the reversal I had to give them all of the documentation I had on i-store, then they took it to a Manager who decided I could go ahead because it appears fraud has occurred due to the website suddenly being shut down and no contact being possible. I am waiting to hear how the transfer reversal went. Tonight I will print off everything I have on i-store, which is not much, and take it to the police to lay a formal complaint in the morning. Once I have done that will e-mail fair-go and lay a complaint with the commerce commission. Still kicking myself for trusting them.

I don't want to spend $127 on a fake GHD I just want all of my money back, and they can keep this poorly made fake. How on eath do they think I would be happy with a $80 refund and still paying $127 for a fake GHD
Yes, just this afternoon, im wondering if I should accept it, as it may be the best offer I get, but that still means ive paid $127 for a fake, that I can't get rid off and am still down $127 I think as I have been pushing and pushing the emails, and they found out I reported them to ripoff website, and I complained to google as they were a sponsored site, which is why they got there website suspended. I think I will try and see if my bank will reverse the transaction. I don't think they have shut down the bank account. So if the banks can do that, I most certainly will try. I replied to that email saying I was not happy with a $80 refund and could they just do the right and honest thing and give me a full refund. The blurb under the website when they were active said money back gaurantee, so I am pushing that they stated that. But will see. At least he is replying, even if it is very slow and still not good enough. Perhaps if you report it to the rip off website too thy may take more notice of you aswell. I did say to them I would retract any statements made against them if they honour the refund. So that may help. Perhaps if we band together, we will be able to get action. Do email fair go though, that might help too. Fingers crossed.
Has anyone heard anything back from them today? I have not heard anything, I sent another email asking for a simple refund and return, or I will lay a complaint with the police. I don't want to go there, but do want my money back.
I have not heard from them today, or at all since depositing $200 into their account on Friday. I laid a complaint with the New Plymouth police today becasue as far as I am concerned I depositied the money on Friday and then their website disappeared, so it seems they have taken my money and gone. The NP police are great, have taken it very seriously. I only saw them at 9.30 this morning and already they have executed a search warrant on i-stores bank account that I put the money into and they have managed to get all of the contact information for the account holder. They have phoned me this afternoon to tell me they are tracking down the account holder to talk to them. I am also aware of another complaint against i-store that has been filed at the Howick police station. I recommend getting to the police quickly so you can strike while the iron is hot. Cheers.
