LifeSteala: Yes, I too am interested with what JB is going to offer! I have held off waiting to buy the device locally than importing one.

Thanks Debin ;)

Most likely only on a Vodafone $80 / plan and you won't be able to buy it outrite..

Debin: Rang JB Hifi today, they said they'd have it today or tomorrow, and it would be at a special price, similar to what they did with the Xperia Play - taking a few hundred off the various prices or something similar. Will ring them again later tonight and see whats up!

Just called them here in Dunedin - they have 3 on order, at a retail of $1147.  Person I spoke to said they were arriving in Auckland on Tuesday/Wednesday of this week, so she was expecting them here today/tomorrow.

I asked about a special launch price, and she said it was possible, but up to the powers that be to make that call.

I'll annoy them again tomorrow. . . Tongue out

All of these are Wellington shops

JB Hfi: Pops up with an 09 number when I do a google search, so not going to do that.

Noel Leeming Tory Street: The guy said its on Pre-Order, I asked if he knew when they were getting them in and he said "There are no details here on the system"

DS Manners Mall: The guy said he wasnt sure when they were getting them in, but from memory only the "larger stores" will be getting them. He suggested Queensgate..

DS Queensgate: Not in the System.

So theres a few places I rung. Cant be bothered with anymore lol.

I doubt its coming this week (Tomorrow) or it would be in the system I would of thought.

Oh well

Rang Sylvia Park JB Hifi, she didn't have a clue about it there, was saying next month, except that goes against what Vodafone stores have told me/what jb hifi told me this morning, so who knows.

It's probably a government cover-up :)  That's the number for their store in Albany.

Odd. Might be a javascript-related issue.

Retailer store here, we don't have them on our systems with prices just yet, however vodafone is expecting them on the 15th. I can imagine that'll filter down over the next few weeks.

dick smith, but I ain't saying which one because we're not allowed to represent individual stores. Usually if we're planning on getting something it'll appear on the computers a week in advance. Which it hasnt yet. Although I just remembered we're not getting stocked by vodafone anymore. and the fact that theyre not in the computers makes it look like telecom wont be getting them anytime soon.

If you live in the Auckland region  they most likely are using a toll bypass on their PBX systems and coming out of their Auckland one..
