Rikkitic: There is strength in numbers. If anyone wants to make an issue out of this, for example through the Commerce Commission for false advertising, I would be happy to join in. I agree that genuine mistakes can happen and should not be penalised but I also agree that the company has not handled this well. What is to stop any company from making crazy advertising promises and then claiming after the fact that it was an error? There has to be some kind of accountability to prevent abuse. Maybe 20 or 30 of us should send a joint letter to the company (in the first instance). What do the rest of you think about this?

I've been part of something similar at least 5 times (I remember ordering $5 graphics cards from Ascent in the early 2000s). They cancel your order and state it was an error.
Why is everyone so up in arms about this?
