I* was a little cautious buying off the site, so emailed quite a few times before taking the plunge, confirming they were authentic, confirming they had serial numbers and confirming that they had a nz power plug, as the photos on the site had two different plugs. All were confirmed to be true and nz plug. I didn't want to buy off trade me, as I know your chances of getting a fake is very high, I did find one person who agreed to let me lay buy one from her, but got this one instead as it was cheaper, but went back to her after and she said she had been selling fakes too, but she wasn't aware till a few people complained. Which untill you open the box you can't tell it is fake, which is why she didn't know, but she brought a heap of "someone" to resell, so I feel sorry for her, as the supplier has gone now. I thought being a ligit website it would be alot safer, but obviously not. My mother just brought me a dark (which is the one I wanted in the first place) but most people had sold out, and it is awesome, much much higher quality, the serial number works and works like a dream. I know a few salons are allowing lay buys, and the hair saloon in Auckland www.medusa.co.nz allows lay buy via internet payments, four weekly payments of $87 or something like that, they also have the dark and pures,  but i think you need to ring them to organise a lay buy for those, as the web only has the normal mK 4 set up for lay buy via internet. They also say the pink ghds will be back in augut september and you can pre order one when they are released, which would be good. So if you can't afford all of it straight away, either ask your local salon, or go to that medusa site. Hope this is helpful

it is istore.nz@gmail, I think he replys once per day, well I have been getting one per day anyway. So they are aboviously not computer based themselves. I thought it was a little strange the a website was using a free email site. The PO Box number is                       Nancy
               Po BOX   27885
               Mt Roskill
               Auckland

I never used mine, I plugged it in to see if it did the beeping nd flashing, but thats all, it's a shame you used it, I hope it doesn't affect your chances of getting a refund. Though being faulty, you still have that right. I just didn't even want to look at mine once I realised and packaged it back in the box it came in, and thats how they will be getting it back tomorrow.

Maybe they are only replying to selective people.  I keep emailing them.  My parcel is held at the courier post branch awaiting my further advice.  I wont pick it up unless they confirm to me that they will be giving me a refund.  Hope they start replying to others.  At least you never got your parcel!  I am trying to be nice in my emails but nothing......  Will just keep emailing them until they have to reply to me.

I got mine, but they allowed me to return to them for a refund, they said they would process a refund asap once recieved. It hasn't been delivered yet though unfortunately, which is odd, as it was only couriered across town, so should be delivered today, but with PO Box numbers sometimes there is a delay. I hope it does arrive today so I can be refunded asap, would be nice to have that money back. It is odd they are only replying to a few people, very strange. It does appear that they are sorting each one out, eventually though, perhaps with the huge amount sold, and im guessing there was heaps more people then just us that brought them, maybe they are dealing with a few at a time or something then move on to the next lot once the ohers are sorted. Will keep my fingers crossed.

I brought mine of the 10th and payment accepted on the 11th July, when did everyone else buy theres? if after this, maybe thats why they haven't got to you yet.

I bought mine on 16 July and paid for on 18 July so maybe thats the delay??  I'm not even getting a reply.  The last reply I had was telling me the tracking number - but they replied to my email saying that I didn't want the goods - so not sure what they are going.  Maybe they want them delivered and then returned.  Still undecided what to do, but if I haven't heard from them on Monday I will get them delivered and then will return them to the PO Box which everyone seems to be using.  You only get the delivery confirmation once the owner of the post box collects stuff so they can take as long as they want.  Hope that the first refund goes through and then the rest can follow.  I wonder how many others are out there that don't subscribe to this site????
